You can also mail in your coupon application. The application can be downloaded at www.dtv2009.gov and mailed to PO Box 2000, Portland, Oregon, 97208-2000. Or, you can choose to fax your application to 1-877-388-4632.

The final step in upgrading your TV using the DTV converter box coupon program is to actually use your coupons when buying a converter box. You simply have to present the coupons when buying a new converter box in order to get the discount. Those who have already bought their converter boxes are not eligible for a refund using the coupons, however.

The DTV changeover box coupon program is necessary to keep the transition from analog to digital television as smooth as possible. If you are upgrading your TV and need some help doing so, then the coupon program will make it easier and less expensive for you. Be sure to apply for coupons quickly, however, before they run out of coupons!
